The GuruFyre affiliate marketing program pays affiliates for helping GuruFyre earn revenue. We welcome you to join our affiliate community to help GuruFyre expand and grow. Let's grow together!
The affiliate marketing program pays commission to registered affiliates that share their assigned link with anyone that then makes eligible purchases from the GuruFyre platform. Eligible purchases include any revenue paid to GuruFyre such as (1) mentor plan monthly or yearly fees (2) transaction fees charged to mentors per purchases by their customers. Eligible purchases do not include the amount a mentor earns from sales on the GuruFyre platform unless that mentor opts-in to share a portion of their revenue with affiliates.
Mentors at sign up can choose to either pay no monthly fee and a 10% transaction fee on every purchase from their customers, or elect for a higher fixed monthly plan price to pay lower transaction fees or no transaction fees. See the pricing pages for Tutors and Educators for pricing details.
When a mentor picks a plan using an affiliate code, they get a discount that varies in size based on the affiliate's tier. This incentivizes mentors to sign up through an affiliate. The affiliate will then get credit on that plan purchase price and every renewal of that plan, and earn their commission on every GuruFyre platform transaction fee deducted from customer purchases. Stripe and 3rd party credit card fees are not GuruFyre revenue and therefore not eligible for commission.
An affiliate is a single person. Affiliates may join into larger networks that are up to 3 levels deep. Affiliates in a network are not required to be associated to each other in a company or any other official capacity. However, affiliates are encouraged to mentor affiliates in their network to benefit both affiliates.
At this level an affiliate refers customers to GuruFyre by sharing their link. Once a potential customer registers they are linked to that affiliate for future purchases. The affiliate's income share commission is not reduced whether they are part of a larger network or working solo. Your commission will never be split with another affiliate.
Any level 1 affiliate is able to become a level 2 or level 3 affiliate by referring other people that become an affiliate. This is true even if an affiliate is already under another Level 2 or Level 3 affiliate.
An affiliate can become a level 2 affiliate, called a "Network Affiliate" by referring a person to GuruFyre that then becomes an affiliate. As a Network affiliate you will still earn level 1 income share commission for GuruFyre customers you refer, AND you earn a smaller income share commission on every sale by an affiliate that you referred. This extra share does not reduce the earnings of the Level 1 affiliate under the network affiliate.
An affiliate can become a level 3 affiliate, called a "Super Affiliate" by referring a person to GuruFyre that then becomes a level 2 affiliate. As a Super affiliate you will still earn level 1 income share commissions for GuruFyre customers you refer, and level 2 "network" affiliate commissions by your direct affiliates, AND a level 3 "super" commission on the next level of affiliates referred by your level 2 affiliates.
Receiving credit for a plan registration requires your affiliate link to be the most recent affiliate link opened by the user at registration or a plan upgrade. The affiliate link click is stored in the mentor's browser storage for up to 30 days or until a new affiliate's link is opened, whichever is shorter. If a plan registration occurs after that 30 day time period, then the affiliate does not earn credit for the referral.
If a mentor decides to upgrade their base plan to a higher tier, they may decide to purchase that upgrade through a different affiliate. In the event an upgrade is through a different affiliate link, the former affiliate will stop receiving commission payments for that mentor and instead the new affiliate will begin to earn commission.
In the event of an upgrade, a new affiliate link is not stored, instead it must be used immediately during the upgrade. Otherwise the prior affiliate remains the active affiliate for that mentor. The purchasing mentor will be shown the new and prior affiliates at checkout and will have the choice of which affiliate they wish to use. A mentor cannot change affiliates without upgrading their plan level.
Affiliates are encouraged to politely encourage mentors to upgrade their plan as their revenue grows to ensure a new affiliate does not take over that mentor as their customer. Building a supportive relationship with your referred customers will help ensure they do not want to switch to another affiliate during an upgrade.
An affiliate user that becomes eligible for the next affiliate tier and then upgrades may at that time switch to another affiliate network of which they started using the new affiliate's link.
Affiliates are encouraged to positively support their sub-affiliates to keep them effective and loyal to your network. Building a support relationship with your sub-affiliates will help ensure they do not want to switch to another affiliate.
Commission Earnings are earned on a monthly basis and paid within a week after the end of each month if the current total earnings are over the minimum payout amount. Earnings below the payout amount will remain credited to the affiliate and be paid out after the accrued commission is greater than or equal to the minimum payout amount. The minimum payout amount at this time is $10. The minimum payout amount is subject to change, so check back regularly for the current minimum payout amount.
Receiving a payout requires an affiliate to setup a payout payment destination using our Stripe integration. To setup a stripe integration you must also register a mentor account using the same email address as the affiliate account, at any tier, including the free tier; then "Enable customer payments" from the mentor profile page to connect Stripe payments. The Stripe connect flow includes a step to connect a bank account for direct deposit. GuruFyre does not access or store your bank details, but rather only a Stripe access token. The token grants GuruFyre access to read transactions in that Stripe account and make deposit transfers. Once the Stripe connect flow is completed, email help@gurufyre.com to request linking the mentor account to your affiliate account.
